About Us
Ruby Q's was created in 2006 when Kelly (Ruby's mom) saw a need for a place for locals to buy quality books, toys, clothes and gifts for the children in their lives.
The real "Ruby Q" was born in 2001 to Rick and Kelly Rummelhart. Kelly, the owner, named her business after her only daughter Ruby Quinn. Naming a business after a daughter is not a new thing for this family. Kelly's father named his furniture store, "Kelly's Future" after his only daughter back in 1979 when she was 5 years old . . . and it's still going strong!
Besides having a great time running Ruby Q's, Kelly also teaches in the Psychology Department at American River College in Sacramento.
